We are half way through the summer and I have been in activewear 85 percent of the time. Of course I love fashion but the summer is hot and sticky and I gravitate to quick and comfortable choices. Choices that eliminate the excuses of not working out.
I decided to find pieces that were readily available in my closet and style them in comfortable yet, chic ways. I did not spend any extra funds on these two looks. Just a little tweaking to ensure they would fit the ease of quick and simple summer looks.
RUFFLES AND SNEAKERS
I love all things feminine and girly, so ruffles just come natural. I know you have seen ruffles absolutely everywhere this season and for good reason! Something about a ruffle just makes you feel feminine, regal, fun, and flirty. I found this dress at boohoo.com and fell in love. The length had me worried. But I figured if I pair with sneakers, it would add a tomboy vibe with the dress and therefore give a comfy vibe to this ruffle find.

WIDE LEG PANTS AND CROP TOPS
I love a wide leg pant and a crop top. The high waisted details of these paints hide MOST imperfections and give a slimmer look to the smallest part of your waist. They are lightweight and perfect for the summer. Now the crop top can not be too cropped because I prefer not to show too much mid drift, just a tad. The scalloped details of this black crop top adds a little feminine edge to the look while being easy and simple.
Whether you are like me and naturally gravitate to active/ lounge wear and like to get dress up sometimes, or you get dolled up everyday, I think either of these looks will work perfect!
