Founded in 2016

ALLTHINGSSKG was created by Shakira K. Gardner as a bridge to faith, family and fashion.

I am Shakira, a woman of God, a wife, a mother.  An ordinary woman, serving an extraordinary God. It is my desire to inspire, motivate, encourage, and empower women by sharing life through my eyes. It's my desire to give to others what God has given to me.

I am a graduate of The University of Montevallo in Shelby County, Alabama 45 minutes south of Birmingham. I received by Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Spanish. My love to help others is what drives me to continue to serve. The creation of this blog is simply an extension of my heart.

AllThingsSKG is the beginning of the cultivation of my creative side that has been lying dormant.

It is my heart's desire for you to come along on this new journey of self discovery, vulnerability, and evolution with me.

THE MINISTRY

In 2017, Becoming Woman was birthed in a personal effort to create a space to encourage women as they become the best version of themselves. After two years in my home, it wasn't enough. I wanted to reach even more women. As a result, what started as an empowerment night once a year, evolved into full-time ministry where I foster a platform that encourage women through faith, family, and fashion on how to apply practical principles in their personal relationship with Christ and others.

Becoming is not about reaching a final destination, but continuously evolving into the woman God created you to BECOME!
